A Future‑Ready and Growing Company is looking for a Sales Manager – Industrial Adhesive (Penang)

Your new company

You will work closely with the Managing Director to drive and expand sales in Penang. The company has nearly 50 years of presence in Malaysia and continues to grow steadily. It is now looking to appoint a Sales Manager to further accelerate its growth. You will be fully supported by both the sales team and the Managing Director.

Your new role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales and business development engineers, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with business goals.
  • Drive revenue growth by owning sales budgets and targets, strengthening the sales pipeline, and executing strategic initiatives within the electronics, semiconductor, and related markets.
  • Oversee pipeline management through regular reviews, field coaching, and account planning, while personally managing and closing high‑value or strategic opportunities.
  • Build and grow strategic customer relationships across multiple levels (engineering, procurement, management), identifying design‑in opportunities and ensuring long‑term customer satisfaction.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, with at least 5–10 years of experience in technical sales within electronics or related industries.
  • Proven ability to lead or coach sales teams, with strong exposure to pipeline management, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Solid understanding of sales tools and processes, including CRM systems and business analytics; experience with adhesive solutions or related applications is a strong advantage.
