Your new role
As the Sales Manager for Malaysia and Southeast Asia, you will lead commercial activities across key markets, driving strategic growth for both the test & measurement and electrical components segments. Your responsibilities will include building and managing distributor networks, engaging directly with customers, developing market penetration strategies, and overseeing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. You will collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and product teams to develop compelling value propositions and ensure customers receive support aligned with industry standards. Additionally, you will analyse market trends, identify new business opportunities, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven sales experience within test & measurement equipment, electrical components, or related industrial technologies.
- Strong understanding of industries such as electronics manufacturing, automation, R&D, utilities, or OEM production.
- Demonstrated ability to grow business in multi‑country territories, ideally within Southeast Asia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with both distributors and end‑users.
- Ability to travel regionally and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A result‑driven mindset with strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
