The company is an established Australia‑based trading technology firm operating under a larger financial services group. It has consistently been ranked as a top performer for overall client satisfaction across multiple consecutive years by an independent investor survey. The firm established a development centre in Malaysia, comprising a development manager and a team of approximately 20 technical staff, including .NET developers (desktop and web applications) and QA engineers. The Kuala Lumpur office was launched in 2017 and has since expanded to a team of over 60 employees. The organisation serves as the technology arm of a stockbroking and advisory business, delivering in-house developed products and applications that support online share trading, stockbroking, and market analysis, primarily built using C# and .NET technologies.

Your new role

• Analyse system requirements and prioritise tasks
• Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages
• Develop technical specifications and architecture
• Test and debug various .NET applications
• Review and refactor code
• Deploy fully functional applications
• Upgrade existing programs
• Support junior developers’ work
• Document development and operational procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 5 years' experience specialising in software development, particularly in Microsoft technologies .Net
• Strong experience in unit testing (e.g., RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.)
• Candidates who are familiar with message-based architecture
• Microservices, Cloud (mainly using AWS), ReactJS are all added advantages.
