Your new company

This FMCG manufacturer is looking for a dynamic and hands-on contributor to support the finance manager to handle the financial activities. You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to all financial regulations.

Your new role

• Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standards (MPERS). Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.

• Manage and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor company cash flow.

• Liaise with external auditors during the audit process.

• Analyse financial data and prepare management reports to support informed decision-making.

• Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting software and technologies.

• Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures.

• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
  
  Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar senior accounting role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (MPERS), and relevant
  tax regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., SAP,
  SQL).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
