Senior Business Development Manager (Education)

An O&G company is on the hunt for a Senior Business Development Manager for their education arm.

Our client is a leading international O&G company in Malaysia, with a global reach through their solutions and services. With a strong presence across the country, they are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to develop their education arm.


Your new role

As Senior Business Development Manager for the education arm, you will be responsible for driving growth, improving brand recognition, directing market positioning, and offering strategic advice for product and programme development in the education space. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand enrolment and secure sponsorship opportunities.
  • Direct marketing efforts to attract prospective students and improve brand recognition within the education sector.
  • Direct market positioning, improve strategies, and nurture new funding channels to support educational initiatives.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, sponsors, partners, and educational institutions.
  • Offer critical strategic input for the development of new products and programs, leveraging comprehensive market intelligence.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 12 years of related working experience in business development or a related field, preferably within the education sector with relevant years of experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven record of successful collaboration and partnership development with academic institutions and industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian education landscape and national development agendas.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Management or any relevant field.
