With close to a century of established global presence and market leadership, our client is a renowned manufacturer of electronic technology across various product lines, seeking to expand their Procurement / Supply Chain team in Johor.

Your new role

Responsible for supporting the Malaysia manufacturing business, you will utilise your sourcing and negotiation skills to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of materials for various sites. You will develop efficient supplier relationships, engaging with existing and new suppliers, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders in the production lifecycle. You will manage spends for assigned portfolios and collaborate with the supply chain teams to monitor delivery of materials.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2-3 years' in a Procurement role in a manufacturing environment. A background in Engineering is an added advantage.

• Solid experience in sourcing metals & plastics, electrical & mechanical components.

• End-to-end knowledge of Procurement processes from PO request to Supplier Performance Review & Audit

• Proven experience in dealing with international stakeholders & suppliers

• Strong sense of urgency, accountability and able to work in occasional high-pressure situations

• Experience in SAP or other ERP tools, and skilled in Excel

• Willing to work near Iskandar Puteri
