Your new role

As a Senior Specialist in Production Planning & Scheduling, your responsibilities are as below:

• Planning & Optimisation: Formulating the best production strategies for both the long and short term to maximise the Gross Petrochemicals Margin (GPM), a metric similar to a refinery’s Gross Refinery Margin (GRM). • Scheduling: creating and implementing a safe and feasible implementation plan derived from the short-term optimal plan.
• Appraisal: evaluating the actual performance versus the original long- and short-term optimal plans to activate corrective actions where applicable to further improve Planning & Optimisation and GPM.

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid years’ of experience in the petroleum/petrochemical industry at managerial level.

• Well-versed in production planning and/or scheduling, marketing, sales and/or supply chain related areas such as logistics, e.g. warehousing, forwarding, haulage and
  Shipping, customer and/or vendor management, inventory management, and Just-In-Time (JIT) practices.

• In depth knowledge of the various facets of petroleum.
