This multinational manufacturing company in Penang is undergoing rapid expansion, after acquiring new businesses for new product line expansion. Its manufacturing hub in Penang offers a well-structured working environment with opportunity for regional exposure. A Senior Supply Chain Manager is to lead the Supply Chain department amidst their business expansion.

Your new role

You will be leading the whole Supply Chain department including Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, Materials & Production Planning, Purchasing, Logistics and Warehousing. You will be responsible to define department KPIs and to monitor the processes for continuous improvement in all areas, such as On-Time-Delivery, Inventory level, Freight rate and total Supply Chain operation Cost. You will be tasked to build and maintain good professional relationship with (internal and external) suppliers, customers, commercial and production team to establish information transmission channel for customer satisfaction improvement. You will also be supporting the management team on decision-making and strategy planning, based on accurate & timely commercial data and reports analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing industry will lead to your success, as will:

• Experience in a Supply Chain Management role.
• Well-versed in all supply chain processes, including purchasing, planning, logistics and warehousing.
• Strong background and knowledge in the manufacturing industry (E.g., Electronics, Electrical etc.)
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams.
