Your new role

• Advanced knowledge of Malaysian tax law, plus a solid grasp of international tax risk frameworks and accounting standards (specifically IFRS) related to tax and deferred tax recognition.
• Expertise in Global Minimum Tax reporting and ensuring all constituent entities comply with Global Anti-Base Erosion Rules.
• A proven track record in driving transfer pricing projects and providing tax advisory for mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border transactions
• Developing and enhancing standardised templates and governance policies to ensure consistency across all regional subsidiaries.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10-15 years experience in a listed group of companies with international and Malaysian tax exposure covering Direct Tax Reporting, Advisory and Compliance.

• Able to communicate with various stakeholders, CFO, Head of Finance, Head of Tax, and Tax Agents

• Up-to-date knowledge of GLoBE requirements and some experience in its implementation in a Group of Companies

• ACCA, ACA, CTIM Qualified or University Degree in Accounting & Finance, Tax, etc.
