My client is a globally recognised financial institution with deep roots in Asia and a strong presence across international markets, looking to fortify their expertise in trade finance.
Your new role
- Lead end-to-end marketing and execution of trade finance solutions (e.g. LC/guarantee issuance, LC confirmation/discounting, SCF, structured trade, ECA finance) for corporate clients, from origination to deal closure
- Drive strategic account planning and foster partnerships between regional and global teams to grow the trade business
- Proactively collaborate with product partners and internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences
What you'll need to succeed
- Due to client requirements, this role is only open to Malaysian nationals.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a sales role in transaction banking (cash management and/or trade finance). Candidates in frontline roles within corporate banking (e.g. relationship managers) who want to move into trade sales may apply.
- Proven expertise in trade with strong product knowledge, enabling effective solution structuring.
- A customer-centric mindset and proactive approach to relationship management and business development, while also adhering to compliance procedures within the organisation.
- Deep understanding and appreciation of the trade ecosystem and internal processes, fostering the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams
