Our client is a household name in consumer goods. They are a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that values its employees and recognises their contributions. Due to their expansion plans, they are looking for a VP of Compensation & Benefits to join their regional HR team to oversee total rewards across South East Asia.

Your new role

As the VP of Compensation & Benefits, you will be tasked with:
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop and execute a holistic compensation strategy that aligns with our business goals and ensures market competitiveness.
  • Benefits Management: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Shared Services Setup: Leverage your expertise to establish efficient shared services for compensation and benefits administration.
  • Long-Term Incentive Plans: Design, implement, and manage long-term incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal, to drive successful compensation initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to qualify for this role, you must ideally have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing compensation programs and managing benefits.
  • Experience with shared services setup is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of long-term incentive plans and their impact on organisational performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
