2025 Hays Asia Salary Guide Pulse Survey Terms & Conditions
By participating in the ‘2025 Hays Asia Salary Guide Pulse Survey’ (“Survey”) and answer the competition questions provided at the end (collectively the “Competition”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Competition T&Cs”) together with any specific instructions and terms for such Competition which may be mentioned on the relevant section of the website (the “Competition information”).
Hays may cancel or amend the Competition, Competition information, or these Competition T&Cs without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the Giveaway information or these Competition T&Cs.
Eligibility
Eligibility restrictions apply to this Giveaway. The Competition is open to all individuals aged 18 and above who are based in China, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, or Thailand. Proof of email address may be required.
Employees of Hays or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the Competition shall not be permitted to enter.
By entering the Competition you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current, and complete.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Competition Information an Winner Selection Process
All individuals aged 18 and above who are based in China, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, or Thailand can participate in the Competition from all Hays official channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and email.
The first person who successfully completed the survey in full and answer the competition questions correctly provided at the end will receive an iPhone 16 Pro Max subject to availability in the winner’s location. If that specific model is unavailable in the winner’s country at the time of purchase, Hays will provide the nearest available equivalent model of similar value and specifications. The iPhone will be purchased in the location where the winner is based, and it will be handed over in person at a Hays office or at an agreed location within the same city.
Participating in the Competition is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to data charges depending on their Internet access plan.
In order to enter into the Competition, entrants are required to follow the instructions as indicated in the Competition information. To be a valid entry, entrants are required to enter their personal information and email address at the end of the Survey.
The Competition will open from 10 June 2025 and will be closed on at 11:59pm on 24 June 2025 (Singapore local time). No further entries will be accepted outside the specified time.
Hays has no liability or responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason, including but not limited to failure to include an email address, for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
Only one entry is permitted per person.
Prize
The prize is an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner via email. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 days, or is unable to comply with these Competition T&Cs, Hays reserves the right to disqualify the entrant of the winner.In order to receive their prize, the winner is required to provide Hays with their full name, phone number and mailing address. For the avoidance of doubt, Hays may collect further information from you, including but not limited nationality, gender, ID category, ID number and date of birth etc. before delivery of your reward.
Hays reserves the right in its sole discretion to withhold delivery of the prize until proof of eligibility and/or identity requested by Hays has been confirmed or if such proof is not produced on request or to disqualify the entrant from the Competition.
Publicity
Unless prohibited by law, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to this Competition, including but not limited to having their name and photograph used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or without any fee being paid to winner. Unless prohibited by law, the winner will be required to execute a publicity release.
General
Details of the competition winner will be made available across each of the eight Hays websites live in Asia.
Any entrant who enters or attempts to enter the Competition in a manner, which in Hays ’ determination, is contrary to these Competition T&Cs or is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants (including without limitation tampering with the operation of the Competition, hacking, cheating, deception, or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrants or Hays and/or any of its agents or representatives), maybe withdrawn from the Competition by Hays at its sole discretion. Automated entries are prohibited and will be disqualified from the Competition.
Hays does not warrant that the services relating to the Competition will be free from errors or omissions or that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operational condition. Hays reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Competition in whole, at its sole discretion, if it believes the Competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in these Competition T&Cs or in the event of system failure, maintenance or repair, network issue, hacking, security breaches or other tampering, a virus, computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond the reasonable control of Hays that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality, or normal course of the Competition, including, but not limited to the unavailability of the Competition or prize draw entry platform before the closing date, or for strike, lock-out, labor dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation. Hays is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any of these occurrences.
Hays cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Hays is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition.
You agree to reimburse Hays in respect of any damages suffered by Hays or any losses by resulting from any claim made by a third party in each case in respect of any matter arising from your use of the services relating to the Competition in breach of the Competition T&Cs or from your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Competition T&Cs shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Competition T&Cs shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
The Competition and these Competition T&Cs will be governed by laws of Hong Kong SAR and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hong Kong.
