Hays, the world’s leading staffing and recruiting experts in qualified, professional and skilled personnel, has announced the expansion of its Sunway office to further service the demands of Malaysia’s thriving local recruitment market. The move will double Hays’ presence and capacity in the region, further cementing it as the largest and most geographically established recruitment firm of its kind in Malaysia.

Having first established its presence in Malaysia in 2012 with the KLCC office, the global recruitment firm is the only one to have set up two offices in Greater Klang Valley, located in both Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Hays Sunway first opened its doors in 2015 which proved to be a strategic move that established Hays as a preferred recruitment specialist, with particular attention to Manufacturing, Life Science, FMCG, and shared service sectors for both MNCs and SMEs in the area.

Located at The Pinnacle, the new Hays Sunway office will accommodate the expansion of its workforce by 50 per cent and will continue to be home to a growing team of specialist recruitment consultants in Accountancy & Finance, HR, Sales, IT, Marketing & Digital, Life Sciences, Manufacturing & Operations, and Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) sectors. The teams are further specialised in the varying functions, industries, locations and seniority levels within these sectors. The office also houses teams from Hays Talent Solutions, the firm’s recruitment process outsourcing arm.

The expansion falls in line with the global recruitment firm’s steady growth over the last three years across all strategic business units (SBUs), with the greatest surge in demand derived from the IT, Sales, A&F and P&SC specialisms across industries, on top of its newly launched Life Sciences SBU.
