Hays Sunway office in Malaysia poised for further growth with new leadership and expansion plans
Hays, the world’s leading staffing and recruiting experts in qualified, professional and skilled people has announced that Sarah Tanoue, previously the Business Director of the Hays KLCC office in Malaysia, will spearhead the expansion of its Sunway office.
Sarah started her career with Hays in 2010 and rose through the ranks with her achievements as both an individual contributor and a leader of high performing teams. Sarah gained recognition for her leadership and management skills in the Hays Japan office where she had worked for close to seven years, before moving to Hays Malaysia at the KLCC office in 2017 and successfully growing several strategic business units there.
Commenting on her appointment as Business Director of the Hays Sunway office, Sarah says, “It’s been a privilege working for Hays Malaysia. We’re the only international recruitment firm with two offices in the Klang Valley, and I am excited to be working alongside an already highly accomplished management team at the Hays Sunway office to take advantage of new opportunities that will strengthen our footprint and positioning in Bandar Sunway.”
“At Hays Sunway, we are looking to further strengthen our functions in manufacturing and operations, life sciences, and shared services in the finance, procurement, HR and IT sectors. In the mid-long term, we will be scaling and specialising further to bring value to a growing employer demand.”
Sarah is also responsible for the operational management of the Sunway office, consisting of seven specialised business units and support services.
Managing Director of Hays Malaysia, Tom Osborne expresses his delight at Sarah’s new appointment: “We are extremely excited to have Sarah steering the office at Sunway forward. Hays is well positioned to capitalise on the flourishing local recruitment market. Leveraging Sarah’s wealth of knowledge and experience will enable us to develop that further. We look forward to Sarah’s continued contribution and success with Hays.”
